Durango & Silverton Fall Photographers Special
Often
regarded as one off the most scenic train rides in North America, the Durango & Silverton takes visitors on a 45
mile long journey through the rugged landscape of SW Colorado, alongside the Animas River and clinging to the
edge of steep cliffs. But a few times a year, for nearly 30 years, the railroad allows passengers to see the train and
scenery from a different perspective with passenger photo specials. Join LCRV as we take you onboard and trackside as
we ride the special charter train during September 2017. We rode both days in a variety of weather and were treated
to run bys at several scenic locations that many only see from onboard. It's a rare look at the Durango & Silverton
from trackside, deep within the vast wilderness that is largely inaccessible otherwise. After you view this program,
you'll quickly understand why photo special
charters are so popular. Sit back
and turn up the Volume and enjoy the Durango & Silverton Fall Photographers Special!
