Union Pacific Sunset Route Hot Spots-Dome Valley

Union Pacific in action on the Gila Sub at Kinter about 12 miles east of Yuma, AZ.

The tracks in this area run along the Gila River and the old Butterfield Stage Route around the rugged Gila mountains. The area is rich with twisting "S" curves and spectacular mountain desert scenery.
You'll see plenty of intermodels, including several with Tropicania juice cars on the head end.
You'll also see manifest and autorack trains, most with mid or rear DPU's.
Amtrak's Sunset Limited shows up as well, as does Union Pacific's Olympic engine UP 2002.
Check out our clip on our Facebook page!

Locations include: Kinter siding at MP749, MP751 and just east of MP751.
Footage shot with the use of our “Multi-Cam” format using 1-2 camcorders.

This is a non-narrative DVD.
DVD-R media formatted.  Dolby Digital Audio
Run time: about 1 hr-7 min.
